Warrior

The Warriors of the lands of Khanduras are well trained in all of the weapons of war. Ranging from crusading paladins to unscrupulous mercenaries, Warriors can be found wherever there is conflict amongst their countrymen. Many of these adventuresome men joined with King Leoric's army and went to battle against the Northern kingdom of Westmarch. As the fires of war burned themselves out, these Warriors returned home to find their kingdom in shattered disarray.

Dark rumors of the mysterious demise of King Leoric abound and the evil that lurks within his Cathedral has drawn many Warriors to Khanduras seeking fortune and glory. Though they were warned by the people of Tristram, a few of these brave souls have ventured into the chaotic labyrinth beneath the old church- never to be heard from again... Whether they are driven by valor, honor, madness or greed, new Warriors arrive in Tristram every day, ready to challenge the dark unknown that awaits them beneath the earth.

The Warrior is the strongest and toughest of the three available classes, and he excels in the art of close combat. His primary weakness is that his extensive physical training has left little time to develop more than a rudimentary knowledge of magic. The extended periods of time that most Warriors spend away from their homes and civilization requires that they learn to repair their own weapons and armor, although their skill is no match for the talent of a true blacksmith.

Attribute Maximum Ability
Strength 250
Magic 50
Dexterity 60
Vitality 100

Warriors are made for the battlefield. They start with 30 in Strength which allows them to carry heavier weapons and armor. Their Magic starts at 10 giving them that same amount of mana, which means that Warriors will not be doing a lot of spell casting. You can of course build up this Attribute, but you are doing so at the expense of others the Warrior needs. Dexterity begins at 20 for the Warrior, which, while not a good as the Rogue, still gives the Warrior a lot of possibilities. Vitality begins at 25 for the Warrior and this gives him superb life force. He begins with 70 hit points which allow him to take a significant amount of damage. Warriors have an innate ability to repair things in the field. This allows less trips to town, but at the expense of the durability of an item decreasing with each repair. Repairs of most items should be done at the blacksmith shop, especially if you want to keep the item for any extended period. Use a Warrior if you like up close in-your-face combat and don't want to dies 1,000 times doing it.

Skill

Item Repair
The Warrior's born ability allows him to repair his weapons and armor in the field without paying Griswald the black smith to do so. This is a handy ability and may save your life many times. But, this skill comes with one flaw. When you repair your equipment in the field it will loose some of its durability perminately. If you value the equipment you are carrying it is best to have Griswald repair it for you.
